This replica N7 Valkyrie Assault Rifle is made primarily out of solid pieces of aluminum. It has an authentic thumhole stock grip, rubber grips, working laser sight, and working trigger. Its about 15lbs. Thanks for the support!

Wow! You are good! I wish I could get something like this here. Was it hard assembling the different parts? You probably have a metal carpenter's work bench. (Sorry I'm Afrikaans so I forgot the actual English word for it.)

Great work, are you a machinest? I ask because i have a little machineing experince and this does not look like someone just screwing around this looks like it could be picked up and fired. Awsome!

OH thank you. I am not a machinist. Actually, this is my first real metal project. Ive only done woodwork previously. There are definetely a lot of places where the pieces has a "home made" look where I would have preferred a machine-precision look...but I only have the tools that I do. Im happy with it and thats enough I think.
-It was made as part of a comic con masquerade costume and the intent was to hand it to the judges, so the feel of it was critical. Its heavy and solid and realistic rubber grips and trigger and so on. So there were a lot of people at the convention who asked if it could fire...
Thanks for the feedback. Coming from you that means an awful lot. I very greatly admire your precision and accuracy.
